Steve SuperVillage AdministratorSteve Super is the Village Administrator for the Village of South Elgin. In that role, he has the dual mandate to implement the policies set by the Village President and Board of Trustees and manage the day-to-day operations of the Village. South Elgin has five departments, more than 80 employees and an annual budget of $25 million.
Prior to becoming Administrator, Steve was the first Community Development Director for South Elgin. Steve serves on the Board of Directors for the Elgin Area Boys and Girls Club. He earned a Bachelor degree in History from St. Cloud State University in Minnesota, and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Northern Illinois University. Steve has been married to Dana Super for more than 30 years. They live in South Elgin where they enjoy their pets, travel, golf, fishing, and home renovation projects. Steve’s passion for R.I.S.E. of South Elgin is rooted in his personal story and his professional belief that South Elgin is a stronger and better community through diversity and equality. |
